#411...the getty

I spent the day this past Saturday at The Getty with my parents and my in-laws. I have been several times in the past, and it remains one of my most favorite museums and LA activities. The beautiful weather helped the enjoyment, as one of the biggest exhibits of The Getty campus is its architecture and garden spaces. Every time I visit I see something different. This visit, we took an architecture tour, and got to see Jackson Polluck's Mural, which just underwent a two year restoration at The Getty, as well as Van Gogh's Irises. If you are in LA it is worth the battle up the 405 to visit.

#409...wood peg super heroes

A while back I painted these little wood peg doll super heroes of my friend Sol's kids.
These little kid super heroes have been patiently awaiting the arrival of their super parent dolls......which I finally finished painting!

The blank peg dolls are from this etsy shop.
